The importance of "Crossing the Mid-line"
The “mid-line” is an invisible line across the middle of the body. The ability to cross the mid-line is important for communication between both sides of the brain. Students who struggle with crossing the midline may have difficulty with reading, writing, and fine motor skills.

The importance of "Strengthening the Core"
Development of core muscles helps to establish fine and gross motor skills. Poor core strength can cause issues with endurance and balance. Students with poor core strength may have issues with memorization, retaining information, and speech.
